CFSR 2025 Congress: Two Presentations in the Session on Hereditary Retinal Vasculopathies
The 18th Annual Meeting of the Francophone Club of Retina Specialists (CFSR) was held on May 10–11, 2025, at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
On Saturday, May 10, two members of the coordinating center team of CERVCO spoke during the thematic session entitled “Hereditary Retinal Vasculopathies” (2:15–3:30 PM), reflecting the close collaboration between ophthalmologists and neurologists within CERVCO in the management of rare vascular diseases.
- Dr. Valérie Krivosic, ophthalmologist, presented a talk on:
“New therapeutic perspectives in Von Hippel–Lindau disease”, a rare genetic disorder notably characterized by retinal vascular tumors. - Prof. Hugues Chabriat, neurologist, followed with a presentation entitled:
“Retinal vessel observation: a key tool for evaluating small vessel diseases of the brain”, highlighting the link between cerebral microangiopathies and retinal abnormalities accessible through imaging.
This session emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and understanding of rare vascular diseases affecting both the brain and the eye.
